Disruptive Technologies

Disruptive Electronics seeks to leverage novel electronics technologies and architecture concepts to create new capabilities in fields such as space electronics, embedded computing and high performance computing. The group focuses on CMOS extensions and post-CMOS concepts, including novel devices, carbon electronics, 3DIC technology, low power electronics and radiation-hardened electronics.

Disruptive Electronics also is exploring innovative methods to speed adoption of promising new technologies.  ISI intends to develop infrastructure that enables US designers to create novel, post-CMOS technologies as easily and cost-effectively as they now do with CMOS.
